I don't regret getting my band at all. I had lost 67 lbs in less than the first year after surgery, but then I stopped exercising 5 days a week and started eating more carbs and gained back 25 lbs in a 2 year period. That was all my fault though. I know what I did to lose the 67 lbs (exercised for 30 minutes 5 times a week and watched my carbs) and I just got a little lazy. My band had continued to work like it's supposed to. I haven't had any complications or haven't had a fill since february 2011. I don't really want a fill because if I eat too fast then I do get food stuck, which is what is supposed to happen. I can tolerate anything as long as I don't hog my food down lol. I have always kept my band on the looser side and I think that is why so far I haven't had any complications. I hope it continues in my future. No WLS is fail proof and no WLS is a guaranteed fix without #1 exercise and changing your eating habits somewhat. There are certain things I have stuck to since my surgery that I find easier to stick to......like drinking only water. That is all I ever drink. Anways best of luck to you in your journey!!! :)

Everyone looks great.  My surgery is in a week.  I'm getting nervous but very excited.  Thanks for your photos.  It makes me feel encouraged.
