Need suggestion on daily PBing
My advice for what it is worth is either go on liquids for a few days and then mushies for a few days then slowly on to solids again. Every time you PB you irritate the stomach and make things worse. However I really think you should get a small unfill and then practice your eating technique until you have it down and can eat wthout rushing or taking too big a bite. This is crucial because you are going to have to eat this way as long as you have a band, it doesn't get better only harder. When you do start eating solids again cut bites into eraser sized bites, then chew until liquidy, swallow and wait until it is all the way down before taking another bite. Yes it takes forever, but that is how we have to eat or you will continue to PB and have problems.
This sounds unhelpful but if it is your eating style at fault, you must simply change it! Regular PBing risks long term damage.
If you can't then you need an unfill.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
So, if you slowed down and chewed you would be able to eat dense protein and a few bite of veggies? Just checking because you may be too tight even though you don't think you are.
That's what I would focus on...cut out most carbs and focus on eating protein, chewing slowly and very well. Think about the digestive process that starts in your mouth. It's important to chew so your food breaks downs from the natural enzymes as well as the chewing motion. Try counting 20-30 chews per bite.
I also sit on my hands...literally. This forces me to put my fork down between bites for at least 30 seconds.
Commit to 3 meals a day and one planned snack or 6 smaller meals throughout the day. If you are grazing through out the day you are probably stacking food in your esophagus because there's no room in your pouch until it empties, which can cause major problems with dialation, etc.
I've been where you are and it's not healthy. You may also want to check into why you are overeating via some therapy. It's really helped me figure out why in the world I would keep trying to eat food that I know will not fit. It's never about hunger for me but about other emotions or things that are bugging me.
Make your plan and stick to it. Liquids for a few days would be a good idea and then back to a healthy, band friendly diet with all of the band rules you KNOW will make a difference.
Take care,
Lisa O.
