Hi All,
Haven't posted much lately because I've been so busy.  But I'm happy
to say that after being banded in Feb 2011, I am now down 90lbs.
WOO HOO!!!

It's a lofty goal, but I'm shooting to lose 10 more pounds by Christmas.  What a great gift to myself this will be!!!  I want to treat myself to something really special to celebrate this accomplishment, as well as help my motivation.   Any ideas?  I've already done the mani/pedi, new outfit, bubble bath celebrations.

I want this to be major, since 100lbs is a huge accomplishment.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  What are some things you did to celebrate?  When I asked my boyfriend what I/we should do, he suggested we go out to dinner.  Silly boy...

Okay, what do think?  Thanks in advance!

Well my major reward when I got to a size where I was happy to stay was something I had always dreamed of.

A wonderful, soft, below  knee kength leather coat. It's useless - can't wear it is too hot, if it's  too cold. Or if it is raining or likely to rain. And this is England!! So I wear it about 10 times year. Now it cost £450. I am 60. So if I wear it 10 times a year until I am 80, that's 200 times. So over £2 a wear!

Sheer needless expense.

But boy do I feel fabulous when I do wear it! DH is going to take photos later today so I may post one of me in my extravagance.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

How about going on a mission trip and helping others?
There are plenty of companies that arrange things like that.

You have been blessed, so why not bless others?

 google "short term missions"

just a thought.

My 17 year old daughter and I are going to puerto rico next summer. I haven't been able to fly on a plane for 6 years. I credit God with the strength to do the hard work required to lose weight and fit my once ubber-fat arse into the tiny seats that they sell you on a jet now-a-days.

We want to do some kingdom work to share the blessing. Building a drug rehab center seems like a worthwhile thing.

That's my upcoming treat.

a mink coat sounds pretty *****in' too, but Phoenix just isn't a mink coat kind of town......

Just a thought, how about some great new workout clothes...or a piece of new workout equipment for the house... I LOVE the stuff at www.skirtsports.com  I can wear it now (just 2 weeks post surgery) and I am so thrilled to get cute new stuff as my size drops!
