Anthem BC/BS Exclusion -- HELP!!!

I was denied for a DS because of an exclusion. The letter said that the exclusion states anything "related to weight loss or treatment of obesity". What if my doc wants to do the surgery to lower my cholesterol and my sugar???? Hmmmmm I am contemplating hiring Gary V., but I really want to hear what percentage he wins when it involves specific Exclusions like this. I know most of us are not independently wealthy and if my chances are 30% to win -- I just don't think I can do it. So -- has anyone else won an Exclusion or know the percentages of times one wins when hiring an attorney? Thanks, Debbie in Ohio

Have you checked your exclusion to see if they exclude morbid obesiy also? I will be using Gary to fight mine and it is a direct exclusion, just not very clear in their wording. I don't know any percentages of cases won by Gary, but I have heard very good things about him and he has been very nice to talk to over the phone. Brandi
