I talked to my surgeons office today and let them know that I would be eligible for medicare effective November 1. She said no problem but I wuld need to give them a deposit of $2,500 in case medicare didn't pay. I dont think that will be a problem as the surgery is medically necessary so am feeling very optimistic that this may actually happen in the not to distance future. I am keeping my BCBS PPO through ICHIP as my secondary so we are still going through the approval process but things are looking good

Hi, I really can't say what other dr.s do. This is what was required at mine. But Medicare paid for everything and I just got my refund of $2,100. Minut the $400 that was my deductible and co-insurance. It was wonderful! Good luck to you!
