Just requested a referral from my PCP

I would like to know if anyone has any feeback about Emory Bariatrics? I requested a different surgeon but my doctor said that he would prefer that I go to Emory because of my medical history and age, he would prefer that I be in a facility that has a good medical team just in case I have any problems. I have the usual medical problems associated with being obese, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and coronary artery disease. In looking, so far, I've not been able to find much information about Emory. I know one that I found was kind of upsetting but I know from talking with people that I know have had the surgery that some have no problems whatsoever, some very little and some have major problems. Please, if you have any feedback on Emory Bariatrics, please give me everything that you have! Thanks

Dr. Edward Lin performed by surgery on August 1. I have had no complications and have been very pleased with him and the entire Emory team.
