A Great 1 Month post-op
I had my 1 month post-op visit today I am one day late but anyway. I got on the scale and wow I am down to 281 from 315 home 7/16 1 day after surgery and down from 323 from my highest when I had my frist appointment April 23,2005 . I am so happy I just grined and was thrilled I decided I needed this surgery. I came home Ernesto (dh) was so happy for me. He said he could really tell a difference . We have an agreement when I get down too goal I get a new wardrobe and he says he has some other surprises for me. Next December 2006 will be our 10 year anniversy and I want to renew our vows. I even want to wear a beautiful dress. We got married by the JotP And I wore Jeans Talk about country huh? So I want this time to be more special. Well thats it it was so great to meet you all the other night and to share stories and acomplishments sorry I was so nerveous. Wait till you really get to know me....Love Beth 
Beth that is great,i can't believe you lost that much,that is awsume,you go girl.About how much food are you eating now?I'm having a hard time on how much to eat during the day.How much do you eat and what type of foods if you don't mind me asking.Do you drink alot of protein drinks and water plus food?thanks any info would be nice.shelly
Shelly Thank you / I still not eating that much I was very nauses untill about a week and a half ago. I do drink alot of water but my protein intake is aweful. However I am trying to find something I like just havent found anything I can tolarate. I hope all is going well with you keep me (us) posted I would like to hear more from you... Beth
Thank You Sandra, It was so nice to meet and talk to you Saturday. I am sure you will be on the other side soon. Did you ever get hold of Yakima? I could hear in your voice that you were happy to be in some jeans again . So good for you girl. Way to go. You losing before hand is awesome it shows you dedecation and your willingness to do what ever it takes . WLS has it bad moments but I think the good ones out weigh them by far. So good luck and keep us posted...Beth

It was great meeting you and the boys on Saturday. Your boys are absolutely amazing... I enjoyed sitting next to them Thank you Maureen, Joshua really enjoyed talking to you . He says he was sorry he didn't share his meat ball with you. LOL He said I really like that lady she was so funny. Thought you would like to know. He did't even want to leave. So you all made a great impression on him. As you can see they are boy boys but I try to keep them in order but not to tight hope they didn't get on anyones nerves Thanks again..Beth
WAY TO GO BETH You are doing great!! Keep up the good work. We really enjoyed meeting you and the boys saturday night. I was tickled to death when I tried on the jean shorts I got. They actually fit. I had to call David and tell him. Now if I get get out from under this cloud of depression things will be great. Are you going to Macon next month? David and I are planning on attending. Maybe you can bring Ernesto. I can understand you wanting to renew your vows, I think that is great. I love weddings, they are such a happy time. I glad to know you were nervous saturday because I was also. We need to get together sometime. Do the boys like to swim?
