Getting paperwork to insurance!!

I have been having problems getting my paperwork sent to my insurance company. I had to complete a six month diet and completed that June 14th. Since then I have been trying to get my paperwork sent in. The bariatric coordinator that my surgeon's office uses has told for the last two weeks that the main surgeon's credentials/accredidation is pending and she hasn't been able to send it for that reason. I don't know what I should do. They have had everything they needed to send it off for three weeks and I am getting very depressed and feeling hopeless. Do you think I should call them back after it has been a week and see if anything has changed??? Thanks, Susan

Absolutely... call them back... and do it everyday until you have satisfaction. I think I might also be concerned about the surgeons credentials/accredidation problems and would be questioning that as well. Keep after them... don't let them slack off... Good Luck, Susan

Since it was driving me crazy until everything was completed and submitted I drove my doctor's office crazy. Fair is fair, right???? Hang in there it is a rough emotional journey but worth it in the end, in the mean time we are here for you. Hugs and prayers, Theresa
