Ologist????
Hi Lynne,
Good to see you posting!!!! I think I would see what all Dr. Duncan requires at his seminar before you start seeing alot of different docs. However, I would go ahead and get in with your PCP and let him know of your intentions and get him on the bandwagon and let him start recording diet history for you. Alot of insurances now are making the 6 month physician supervised diet history a requirement. So if you go on to your PCP, make sure they have written notes in your chart that include date, weight, diet and progress and excercise as well. This is one thing you can get ahead of the game on. If you see any other physicians you normally see, go ahead and ask for a letter of reference from them as well. This will get you ahead of the game, but not too far ahead of what Dr. Duncan may or may not require from you. Hope this helps...
Susan
