Thank you All so very much.....Your support means a great deal to me...I'm still in shock that I'm this far with WLS..... just a few years ago I thought of it as an extreme measure... and here I'm ... already post-op..... I went to Wal-Mart today to stock up on those vitamins.... I didn't bye chewables pre-op because until very last minute I couldn't really believe it was happenning to me...I took a sip of pain med today.... not so much because of post-op pain, but rather because I have my regular headache...I don't like the way pain meds make me feel, but I don't want to be in pain now.. I'm trying to folllow my Dr.'s directions as far as eating goes but I have very hard time with making myself drink 64 oz of water....I couldn't do it today for sure... another thing I'm a bit concerened about is the fact that I could actually drink whole cup of protein shake in one sitting and felt ok after it....whole cup... isn't it too much at the begining? I have million little questions now that I want to ask you, but I don't want to tire you that much... hugs to all , Rita

Hey Rita Don't worry about getting all your water in at first.. Just try your best. You will eventually get there. I could do a whole cup of protein shake at first too If you have questions, please feel free to email me. I am right up the road from you in Dawsonville, so if there is anything I can do for you just let me know

Thanks Maureen for your support..I guess the fact that you could hold a cup in your pouch only speaks for consistancy of Dr. Proctor's technique... right?... he didn't talk much to me after the surgery, but to my hubby he said that everything went the way he (Dr. P) wanted, and that everything looked excellent....So, I'm going to trust him on it... Now all I want other than loosing weight is to be able to overcome fatigue that I have....Now after changing my 13 mo. old baby I feel as if I just unloaded huge truck, breathing heavily, heart pounding and all...I hope it will pass... Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble on and on.....I know everything comes in it's time.... the best to you, hugs, Rita
