Feeling Blessed
Hey, Y'all,
I've been kind of lurking lately...empty nest syndrome and such...getting better! Well, I just finished my first week with my new students, and it was great. This is the first year in ages that I have not been winded walking up and down the hallways. I thought the little ones laughed because of my size when I danced, and I used that extra bounce for all it was worth. Well, obviously, they were just laughing at my dancing because the laughter has not subsided. It also seems that the kiddos dance with me more now!!! Usually, I come home and immediately go to bed for the first few weeks. I have not been as tired this year. Wooooo Hooooo!!! I feel so much younger! Another blessing: One of my favorite foods is Reese's. Well, I have a little one who is highly allergic to peanuts, so this favorite food is not ALLOWED in my classroom. (I also have to wear a lovely and stylish emergency kit everywhere I go. The kiddo is soooooooooo worth it!) How's that for heavenly dietary monitoring?
Things are looking up. 1) I talk to Drew, my son, who now lives in Trion, every day, and he has made new friends and has a new job (Please keep him in your prayers!) 2) Gregg INSISTED that I buy a new purse, and I did.
3) We are going to see "Wedding Crashers" tonight. I've heard it's hilarious!!!
Thank you, Lord! Can't wait to see you all next Saturday!
Hugs,
Becky
