Surgery Day Changed

Well due to my PCP I am not going to be ready for surgery on August 22, 2005. I have 2 tests left to take and the absolute earliest for one is August 31,2005. I guess this is Gods way of saying that the 22 is not the day So now I have a new date of September 19, 2005 This is my rebirthday. Everything should be in place to go on this date. This will also give me some more time to lose a little more weight I said if this happened I would take it in stride because this would be the second time someone has tried to back that day up It is just not my day I will keep everyone informed Nalani

Hey chicadee! I am glad that your wait is almost over. You have been working so hard to get the weight off and jumping through hoops. I do know an excellent PCP in Phenix City if you ever need one. He is the best doctor I had ever had. Hate that I had to loose him with the move. I do not know when my surgery date will be, but it would be cool if we had the same date! We could have walking contest down the WLS wing! haha I am glad you are staying positive. Its been a long wait, but I think it will be well worth it! Hugs, Kim

Nalani, your day will come, you have the right attitude. Everyone of us is very anxious to have "our" day, but like you said, maybe God is telling you the 22nd is not a good day for you. Good luck to you, and before you know it "your" day will be here.
