Embarrassment Leads to "WOW"
Ok, have to share my "Wow" moment. I have physical therapy
appointments twice a week for my back. Yes, finally 4 months after
my back surgery I get to go to physical therapy - but that's another
story. I have worn an old pair of jogging pants that I couldn't
bear to part with, and yes, I agree, they are a wee bit big (huge)
and don't stay up very well (which is what is leading to the WOW
moment). Well, needless to say too much, as they were showing me an
exercise in which you sit on a ball and roll back and forth, my old
faithfuls decided they weren't going to stay around the waist area
any longer. It was a little while before I noticed!
Well, this incident forced me to go shopping for something a little
snugger that would work for physical therapy. I stopped at Wally
World and found some shorts and ended up in a size........SMALL! I
flipped out in the dressing room. I think they heard me all the way
over in the pharmacy area. A loud Woo-Hoo! I remember that just
before my surgery I was so depressed because I went to WalMart to
buy a shirt and found that nothing they had fit! I had actually
outgrown WalMart. That was one year ago!
Oh, and while I was there I picked up my very own exercise ball! I
love them. I may replace all my den furniture with them! Wouldn't
that be fun!!!
