For those who have followed my profile - you know I'm recently single again.....well...being back on the dating scene I actually had a date last night with a nice gentlmen. (That's NOT the wow moment ) We were being silly talking and playing (which fits my personality ) and right in the middle of it he PICKED ME UP.....right off the ground. My head immediately went to thinking "OMG - I'm too fat for you to pick up".......he said to me "You're so cute....I ought to throw you over my shoulder and run off with you" It was a weird feeling to have a guy literally lift me off the ground...... (THAT'S the WOW moment.) This was not something I ever expected to happen......it certainly wouldn't have happened before this surgery.....I'm finally enjoying being single....the confidence I have gained really makes me feel like a new person. okay - I'll go back to being a closet weirdo now......NOT! Dee Dee, that's a DOUBLE "Wow" moment, in my book! I know that no man ever picked me up, and I doubt that anybody on the board thinks that it's a "ho hum" moment. I'm just enjoying every minute of your single life - lots better than some of the books I've read! I feel like a proud mama who's discovered that her daughter is Cinderella. (I'm probably old enough to be your grandmother, but that's another story). My husband just walked by and I showed him your picture. He said, "Boy, is she HOT!" I said "What do you know about HOT?" He said, "Honey, I may be old (73) but I ain't DEAD." Thank you so much for sharing the moments that make WLS such a wonderful, happy, life-changing process. Barb in S. GA

What a cool wow moment! I still weigh too much for hubby to lift lol. But my first thought with just about everything is still 'am I too big for that; will I fit there, etc' wonder when those thoughts don't automatically pop in there? Kia

Now that is a wonderful "Wow"! I'm afraid to have hubby pick me up, but he already has a hernia, so this may be a good time! LOL. So.....where is he running away with you to? And.....what the heck are you doing here?? Patti
