Stupid Question..okay??
Hi Phyllis
At my preop with Dr. Duncan's office, I got weighed and turned in paperwork that they had given me at my pre-pre op appointment. The nurse also gave me bowel prep info, a shopping list and some other information. I also had to give a deposit with Dr. Duncan's office, seperate from the hospital deductible. I was then sent to the next building to preop testing. When I went to sign in, the woman at the desk asked for my deposit (for my deductible for the hospital). A nurse asked for a urine specimen, did blood pressure, etc.. and went over my history. They took blood. And I spoke with the anesthesiologist. He was great. They were all very nice over there. They gave me a paper of instructions and that was it. All in all, it took less than three hours. Hope this helps.
