OT - looking for AC person with good rep,
Ok so our homes AC died on us yesterday - hubby looked at it and can only hazzard a guess as to why it isn't working so that means we will have to hire someone to come look at this. My point is, I would MUCH rather get someone by word of mouth then randomly pick a name from the yellow pages. We live in Byron which is right next to Warner Robins if ayone from this area has a good reference please let me know
I will be hoping to contact someone tomorrow - er today to get this repaired. Thanks for your time.

I think it must be from this tremendous heat wave we are having. We are having a BAD time right now too! We had a repair guy out on the 14th, he changed the switch on the blower under the house and Sunday night about 11:15PM my husband woke me screaming over the smoke alarms going off which I didn't hear to the house FULL of thick black smoke that smelled like a cross between dry campfire wood burning and a rubber tire plant smell (rubber burning)
We had been to sleep a whopping hour and a half when it started. Took the FD 15 minuets to get here, by the time they did I had managed to round up our four cats and got three of them into the carrier. I held on to the feral and my hubby moved the new car from under the carport as the fire chief started carpooling firemen up our hill!!! It was the blower motor that burned up, no flames replaced it the next day (Monday) but now our dang thermostat is all screwy and after four hours last night hubby and next door neighbor called it and are gonna try again this afternoon. No doubt Georgia Power is gonna OWN us with what the bill is gonna be this month! It doesn't rain but pours! At least our son works for a fire restoration company and they came in and did all the cleaning for me since I am so sick while STILL waiting for me date. I'd reccomend our guy but we aren't totally sold on him. Both calls, even the risking our home to the fire cost us over $150 each time! I blew a gasket when hubby paid him for the blower replacement call (blower under warranty, service call wasn't)
BTW, we did get ANOTHER approval Monday but surgeon at Emory has to double check with surgeon here to make sure they agree what to do with me! GEEZE just give me flippin date all ready, LOL. It SHOULD be within the next week maybe two tops so .....
