Is there a limit on how much protein our bodies can absorb at one time?

I am just curious if anyone knows if there is a limit to how much protein that our bodies can absorb at one time. I am trying to get a least 60 grams per day, but have been spacing this out over the whole day. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, LMW

My surgeon and Nutritionist says that our bodies can only absorb 25-30 Gms at a time. And spacing it throughout the day is the best way... Hope this helps Susan

30 grams every 3 hours, from what I was told. The amount of protein varies for each person, but there is a protein calculator at unjury.com and it is close to what my nutritionist told me for my daily protein amount. I have increased my own count each day because I was having a real problem with my hair falling out since my second surgery. I also started taking Biotin 3 times a day and between the two I have stopped losing hair by the handfuls. Patti

Thanks Pati for the info. I did not know about the 3 hours, but that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for letting me know about the protein calculator. I just ordered some Unjury. Can you get Biotin at Walmart? How would I know which Biotin to purchase? Does it have milligrams on the bottle? Thanks for your help. Sincerely, LMW
