HOME NOW!!!! (kinda long)
So glad to be home Ernesto and the boys picked me up around 2:00 07/16. Everything went well with both procedures. . Got to the hospital at 5:30am on Friday and was taken back to my room at around 7:00 Then was in there talking to the vascular surgeon for a while . Took me to the pre-op room aroun 9:30 meet Dr. Hobson and his assistant everyone was so nice. They took me to the operating room I remember get on the table lying down and that is it . Unsure what time I got back up to my room slept. Was so tried could'nt not stay awake.When finally woke up was awake for a long while. Dr Duncan and Shannon came by to see how I was doing. Then I walked and then around 2:00 in the morning walked again . Felt so good Had alot of gas under my breast bone . But didn't use my pain meds didn't know I had it untill my late night nurse showed me. In the morning took the leak test (horrible) . I think that is when Melissa called. Thank you for trying to call and your support . What a great hospital Everyone I had to deal with was fantastic. What a bunch of great people. so now that I am home I fell so much better. Trying to remember to drink but I am walking. My advice to anyone is to go in with a positive attitude. Thank you all who showed me support and kept me in my prayers. My whole family apprecitates it.Love to all....Beth

I'm glad you are doing well. It seemed that everything went smooth. I am sorry I didn't reach you, as you know I am sick. You would think after the steriod shot Friday and the 3 days so far of antibiotics, that I would already feel better.As soon as I get to kickin again, I'll call you girl.

Glad to hear everything went well for you!! Remember to keep walking! It has helped me more than anything. Not just with the gas, but with losing the weight!! Whatever that drug is they give you just before you go under is great!! I don't even remember getting on the table!! I hope you have a speedy and uneventful recovery. You and your family are still in our prayers.
