HELP!! Protein!!
I am 8 days post-op and everything is going great except with the protein. First of all, I'm extremely picky, which I am trying to overcome, but also don't want to dump in the process. I've tried several different recipes that I could try at my stage and it was just too chalky and I've tried some liquids, but couldn't stand the tastes. I really need help, I either want something fruity or vanilla. Please if anyone can tell what to do or give me some very good recipes.

I understand what you are going through...I could not find a protein drink that I could drink. Most of them were too thick for my taste or they had that weird "hay" flavor!!! FINALLY, Carol brought me some UNJURY Vanilla....I can actually drink it and they make unflavored too so you could mix it with almost anything.

I will add a scoop of peanut butter for extra flavor and protein!!

I am an Isopure gal. I like the Creamy Vanilla and the Dutch Chocolate. I mix them with soymilk (8th Continent - Original) and add a couple of ice cubes in the shaker. I like to add some frozen strawberries, a packet of splenda, a splash of vanilla and some ice cubes to the vanilla and mix it up with my Braun Stick. The chocolate is good with soymilk and I will add banana and sometimes also peanut butter. I also love the Isopure in the bottle (ready to drink) protein drinks. They are zero carb, 20 ounce bottles with 40 grams of protein per bottle. Of course since we can only absorb 30 grams of protein at one time, I drink 1/2 bottle in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening. They have several flavors and you can get them at most nutrition stores, including GNC for around $3.50 per bottle.
