this is my second attempt to post this.... I hope it goes through this time hey Folks!!! Just wanted to ask you a couple of things...one is kinda practical : is there particular good sources for buying Protein powder/shake and supplements..I live in North Gwinnett... is there are particular kind that maybe "better"? that, I guess is more of a personal preference matter...Is there way to try maybe samples of things before you comit to one brand? I tried "Unjury", and it was ok.... but this is the only one I tasted... so maybe there is better matches for me....Anyway.... other than getting it at the Doctor's office, anyone knows decent stores? Sorry for rambling on and on on my first question.... here comes the second one: what is Angel ? who is she/he? what's their role? how it works? ..I keep seeing people mentioning Angels....but don't exactly know what it means in a sense of WLS/MO... 'till nex time, Rita B.

Rita, As far as the protein shakes, you might want to try the Vitamin Shoppe across from the Mall of GA in Buford. They have a huge selection, there is always a sale of some kind, and their staff is usually people who use the products themselves. I love going in there. (I use Isopure myself, but I know others prefer other kinds of powders) As far as being an angel, it really means being a one-woman (or man) support squad for someone. Check this link for more info: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/beanangel.phtml hope that helps! Amanda 266/186/147

Amanda, thaks for the info...I will try them.... but so far I kinda went creazy with getting every possible sample I laid my eyes on....I ordered some on-line, and bought some today from Harry's Market (it's my favorite food Store)....anyway I'm planning on having a shake for breakfast for the next 3 weeks 'til my sugery on 08/08...I've gained weight from the day they measured me first in Dr. Procter's office and want to loose it in the next 3 weeks...although...this gaining of 5 lb has nothing or little to do with food....I've managed to loose my period for last 3 mo (I'm not pregnant though, and I think it's all "stress-related"... as always I ventured off on a tangent.... sorry.... mainly I wanted to thank you for your reply... the best toy you, Rita.
