Did anyone experience Insomnia in the first weeks after their surgery and eventually get back on track with your sleeping? or did you continue to have a terrible time getting and staying asleep. I am having such a difficult time. I am wondering if this is temporary or permanant for me. Does it get better. I feel like a zombie! Please let me know. Sincerely, LMW

Hy LM..I did. I had my days and nights backwards... it is just from having your world flipped upside down...Work on it...MAKE yourself go to bed and try not to take any naps during the day... Hang in there...it will get better. Tami

Hi Lady, I just wantd to share something with you I just read. If you are waking in the middle of the night it could be from your blood sugar dropping. I think this was an issue with me. What I read said be sure to have some protein before you go to bed and it may help. I've gotten into the habit of eating some low carb yogurt before bed. I would wake up around 3am and stay awake til 6 or 7 then want to sleep until 11. Good news is now at 6 weeks out I am sleeping wonderfully. I go to bed around 11 and get up around 8... oh I am so spoiled! I hope you are feeling better everyday! Love, Barb
