Milestone Achieved
Many people would not understand this achievement but I knew that all of you would. When I got on the scales this morning, I weighed 199 lbs. Been over a decade since I saw a number that started with a "1". I didn't believe they made them anymore!
So that makes it 70lbs since surgery (80 lbs total) and I'm not quite 4 months out yet. Makes everything we go through worth it.

Denise, I'm so proud of you and FOR you. As I read the posts it indicates a number of us in the 6-8 months range are slowing down with our losses. It would be interesting to hear what folks believe to be the common reasons. Is it because we're not sticking totally to the food plan recommended. For me, that may play a part in it....I may be having more carbs than I should. I mean...Im not complaining about my loss, but I "hear" everyone with surgery dates somewhat close to mine saying the same thing. I've started walking this month.....and can't tell for sure if it's boosted my metabolism or not....I know being sick for 3 days was the FASTEST loss I'd had in a while! I know I hear DeeDee talk of going to the gym all the time and her's is slowing.....We just need to encourage each other as a collective group and keep that faith!! I am below the "3" mark for the first time in probably over a decade......Heck in 1976 when I had my first surgery I was at 301 so that'll give you an idea of how long it's been since I stepped on scales and had a number with 2 in front of it. Now I'm dreaming of a "1"!!
I hope we can all make the goals we aspire to.
