We've lost more than I weighed! 638 pounds gone!

This weekend was such a reality check!  Almost 3 years ago in January 05', Kenneth and I went to the Atlanta OH event.  I had already lost close to 200 pounds and he was still pre-op.  The event for him was his turning point.  We had gone out to eat with the group and all they had were chairs with arms.  He was so embarrassed when he could not fit in the chair.  That was the first time I witnessed his weight really get to him.  Thankfully three months later he was able to get surgery too.  Our lives have changed so much.  I've added it up and we've lost more than I started out.  We've lost 638 between us!  Pretty much the amount a 4 person family could weigh.  I'm thankful each day we were both given another chance.  The surgery has changed our lives.  We are now active members in society.  We enjoy giving back to the weight loss community.  I never knew it was possible to love someone as much as I love Kenneth.  He has been my rock throughout this whole time and our love is even deeper than the day we met over 13 years ago.  We had a blast at the Atlanta event this weekend.  We saw people we had not seen in 3 years.  It was so different than the last time, we were both filled with energy and enjoyed our time there.

I'm looking forward to next month!  I'm going to be going to my first Lymphedema convention in Atlanta on my birthday.  Other good news is my dad got to come home Thursday!  So far so good, just going to take some time for him to get some energy back.

Amy,  You and Kenneth look wonderful and have both come a very long way. Amy if it was not for all the things that I read about you and your journey. I think that I would be having a harder time than I am. I look and read all the things that you post and see all the things that you have done. I too think OH for all the SUPPORT  that I have gotten. I really think that ERIC is really the best because he cares about all of us and wanted to do something to HELP. MY hands are off to him.  So like I said THANK YOU for all that you have done for me.  Hug's Jeannie
