Just a reminder that the support group meeting at Rockdale Medical Center will be held Wednesday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. in Classroom 2A/B of the new wing of the hospital. Everyone is welcome to attend!!! Hope to see you there!!!

Hi, I am new to this site and still trying to figure things out. I am from Walton County and was interested in getting in a support group. I am still going through the pre-certification process, but hope to have a surgery date soon. Do you know of any groups in Walton? Thanks for all your help! Leanne

Hi Leanne, Welcome to Obesity help and the greatest journey of your life. I am not that familiar with the area, but according to mapquest, you aren't that far from our Rockdale meeting. I know of no other meetings near you. We have a few of Dr Lin's patients in our group. Hope you can make it to next months meeting.

Thank you, please let me know when the next meeting is. I actually got my appointment with Scott Davis (Dr. Lin's partner) for September 26th. So, hopefully I'll have a surgery date soon. Are you going to the conference in Atlanta this weekend? I will be there, maybe we could get together and I could get more info about your group. Thanks again!

Yes, I will be there and also at Joe's on Friday night. I will be looking forward to meeting you there. I won't be back on the computer before I leave. I have to babysit tomorrow and will leave from there to Atl.
