words of encouragement to anyone looking to have rny

Just a word to say that I am two weeks out from rny and am doing well.  I wish that I had done this years ago, but now is the right timing.  It was not an easy choice, but a necessary one, and I am so grateful...... I always think of my mother and what she would say ..."NOTHING WORTHWHILE IS EVER EASY", but oh so worth, just it to feel better.   Much prayer and hope to everyone out there thinking about this surgery.  Beth

Hello Beth, I'm really glad to know that you are feeling GREAT. I know that when I made the choice to have the gastric bypass it was an easy choice for me, because I wanted my health back. I have meet so many great people here on all the boards and I know that we all have a very long journey into a new life of healthiness. I'm glad that I made this choice almost a year ago.  Beth, I had been heavy all of my life and I just wanted a chance to really feel better again about my life. Because I was unable to help myself and I did I think I would be able to help others. I hope to see you again really soon. Thank you so very much for your post. I am about to go under the knife on July 9th and it makes me feel good that you are giving words of encouragement. I do appreciate it. I am not afraid, hec, I have been waiting for so very long now, I am really looking forward to it. I wish only the best for you and pray that you have a nice time of getting your life back.
