I am 3yrs post op and have been experiencing extreme nausea.  It keeps me up at night and it bothers me all thoughout the day.  I do have meds I take, Phenegrene but it makes me sleepy and Zofran.  All in all, it's still a bothersome feeling.  Can anyone please tell me what they have done or are doing to get ride of this!!  It is really affecting my personal life because I don't want to do anything and I have NO appetite at all.  Someone please help with any advice they can give. I am 2 yrs Post -Op and I have the same problem still. Sometimes what will help me is this stuff called Maaloxx STOMACH RELIEF....it is in a Purple bottle. The taste is not TOO bad, but about 30 minutes before I eat I drink some of it and it kinda coats my stomach before I eat. It helps with the nausea for me. Another thing I do is eat a half of a saltine cracker about 30 minutes before if I don't want to do the Maaloxx (amazing what you figure out on your own *lol* ). I know your pain...it sucks so bad. For those of you who don't have it or haven't had surgery....it feels like pregnancy morning sickness but twice as BAD(am I right?!?!? ). The thought of food literally makes you sick. *SIGH*   If you figure anything out let me know please...... Shree :O)

Thanks Shree, I'll have to try that.  Right now the meds they put me on is not working and I am at my wits ends with this.  I am going to have a colonic done this week to see if that will help at all.  But yes you are right when you say the thouhgt of food makes me sick!!!  The cooking shows, commercials even billboards sometimes on the street that advertise food makes me sick.  It just got this way recently though.  I had a little bit of it right after my surgery but now it's unbareable.  I am so miserable .  Thanks for the suggestion.  If the coloinc works, I'll be sure to let you know.
