GBP Dr. in the Tallahassee area

Very shortly my husband and I will be moving to the Tallahassee area and I need a physician to see for my annual follow up visits. Any suggestions, and what hospital? Thanks for your help.

Lil, The 2 doctors that I know of that do GBS in Tallahassee are Dr. Ballrio and Dr. Sieloff. I don't know that either would take you on as a "follow-up" only patient but it doesn't hurt to ask. However, there is a 3rd option. I know of a woman who had her surgery in Washington and she does her follow-ups with her Tallahassee PCP. He sends copies of reports to her DC surgeon and she also confers with the surgeon by phone. (She is over 2yrs post-op, I believe. Hey there... I cant tell you much about physcians...but these other two ladies were right about the doc. I can tell you that Dr. Balliro is only in town 1 week out of the month...that is what deterred me from wanting to use him. I wanted to use Dr. Seiloff but they dont take BCBS and wanted 5000.00 upfront Sooooo as you can see I used none of them LOL. That dont mean of course that you cant. Good luck with your WLS journey!
