Still in Review

Well I guess no news is good news. I called UHC today to follow up. They just got a fax yesterday from the surgeon's office with more information they needed. The representative told me it would be a few more days. So, I will call Friday afternoon to follow up, again I am so close I can feel it!

Good luck, i know my approval took 4 weeks now i'm waiting on a new date since they had to cancel my sept 1st date. again good luck and keep us posted. Tammy

do you have UHC PPO? how long has it been since you submitted paperwork?

I have UHC Choice Plus POS (or something like that). I did things a little different. I actually called UHC and notified them of surgery Monday the 23rd. Then talked to the surgeon's office and I don't know when exactly they submitted everything. My guess is Thursday or Friday they did it. They also sent something today. UHC told me a long time ago that it can take up to 30 days, but honestly I think it's probably shorter. If you keep on them and work with your surgeon's office and UHC's Care Coordination, it seems to pu**** faster.

I know how you feel, mine is still in review and i am making myself sick worring about it. I am just about to go crazy waiting. They say go with your gut feeling ( no pun intended) so if you feel that close my guess is you are. Good luck and keep on with the positive thoughts. hugs and prayers , Karen
