About meetups..
I was just curious, about the meetup choice of location. Like most of you who have been reading the board I have yet to have my surgery, am still looking for insurance (more like waiting for replies from them!) and researching information about Doc. Overcash.
Anyway, my question is ... with these meetings why not one day just go to a local park? Its free open space, easy to talk and there are trails if you want to go talk and walk at the same time. Like for instance, Blue Springs, its a natural park, really beautiful and would be a great place to have a picnic, everyone bring a dish of theirs that they enjoy (small portion
) and tons of water to drink. It'd be a fun, lite hearted atmosphere. Just my curious mind wondering here. If not hey anyone who wants to just 'meetup' and do a walk at the springs as well as a cold swim (very cold water
) let me know.

Heather,
When we starting planning our first Meet and Greet for June, we talked about doing it at a park, but the heat and unpredictable weather during the hotter months made us rethink that. Once it cools off, a park might be a good idea. We had tried to think of parks that had pavillions but wouldnt charge us $ to rent one (that was a bit of a challenge). Anyway, our next OH.com FL board Meet and Greet will be at the end of October so we have time to sort out the location. Good suggestion
Thanks,
Amy
