DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY DOCTOR IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA THAT IS ACCEPTING MEDICAID? i'M GOING ON DISABILITY SOON AND NEED TO FIND OUT

i think dr cox is the only one who accepts medicaid.. and hes in ft.lauderdale

I really do not know of any in the central Florida area. Try Dr. Overcash in ocala. Try Patricia Byers or any other doctor in Jackson memorial hospital in Miami. I have medicaid and had my surgery with Dr. Raul Rosenthal in Weston FL. Honestly, many doctors hate doing medicaid patients. So, you may have to just get a list of doctors and begin calling them and ask. Good Luck. If i can be any of any more help? Feel free to ask.

Maryanne, if you are going on disablility because of weight, instead of medicaid, you may want to try Vocational rehab. More Doctors take vocational rehab. Let me know if you need more information. Steve

hi, Dr. Tenewitz in melbourne accepts medicaid/medipass. I'm not sure when he has his seminars just call them to find out. They also have a seminar you must attend about the different types of insurance they accept, the meeting tells each patient what their insurance requires.
