Lifting

I absolutely LOVE lifting. It is like a drug to me. However, I am embarrassed  to lift around most people. I know, I know.... get over it already. It is all in my head.

I agree, get over it.  But more than that, there is nothing sexier in the gym than a girl who lifts and looks like she knows what she it doing.  You have that working.  Also, nobody cares.  People who lift are typically into themselves.  Some so much that they won't even notice you are there.  Really, just do it and ignore creepy stares from idiots like me.  ;-)

I know what you mean. I go to my gym at 6:00 a.m. because there are very few people there. Also, I'm naturally a very early riser, so it's convenient for me.

I'm having this problem especially now with lap swimming. I SO don't want to be seen in a bathing suit...but I've been making myself do it anyway. I practically sprint from the locker room door to the pool!

We gotta do this...hang in there!

I used to have some type of shyness about it but I didn't let it stop me. I've never had a trainer at the gym I'm at now but I've had two of them stop me and tell me that I have really nice arms -- yeah!!!

Now I have women approaching me asking for pointers and I must say, it's nice!!

Just do it....(do I owe Nike money for that?)

Be happy.

Do it!!!

I was really apprehensive about doing free weights in the morning because it looks like an old boys club over there.  I went through my first week in the morning with my trainer and then I just started venturing into the free weight area by myself.  Now I'm going over there at least three days a week - and usually one of those is a Saturday.

I hear you about it being like a drug!!
