Seeking runners

Congratulations on your weight loss and the entrance into a new challenge!
The only things I have to say in addition to the other advice you've gotten are:
1) Make sure you go to a running store to get your shoes! They know how to look at how you run/walk and can help you get the right shoes for your gait. This helps avoid injury and poor running form.
2) Don't do too much too soon. It's fine to make progress (which we all want to see), but do it slowly. Many, many people get overuse injuries by not progressing slowly enough.
