Sunday Workouts
It's cold, well like 29 degrees and some snow flurries but I've made up my mind to go run outside. I'm tired of the treadmill or running on the indoor track at the YMCA..six laps equals one mile...gets monotonous so I plan on running 5 to 10 miles today. May stop by the "Y" and get in some laps at the pool afterwards. What did you guys do today?
BTW, Cassie you've really had my mind thinking about that 1000 mile goal. I'm very tempted to take that on in 2010.

Today was day 29 en route to my goal of 1 mile a day for 365. Today was tough. The snow has not been cleared (about 16 inches) and I was not comfortable to run on the road. Luckily there is a driveway about a tenth of a mile from my house that is over a half mile long. They had it plowed for me so my run was not particularly dangerous. I also used an ATV to plow three driveways and I am simply beat. Nap time.

Just strength training today...........dehydrated and tired..........bad weekend with my band.
Hopefully a protein shake before the day is done and I'll feel better.
My coworker is starting a contest in January at work for miles per year, not sure what my goal will be yet, but I'm going to sign up..............love competition. The social committee, which I'm luckily on, will be providing prizes to the winners by category...........
It was a crisp 16-degrees in Central New York this morning, but that didn't stop 10 of us from getting together for our regular Sunday run. We did a 10-miler, followed by brunch. We'll run together all winter for motivation, even if it's below zero.
Duane, if you set 1,000 miles as your goal, I'm confident that you'll attain it. You've got a lot of passion and internal drive to do whatever you set your mind to. When you plan your events for the year, you'll get a sense of how many miles are reasonable given your other goals.
