I got back from a 2.5 mile run this morning.  It was another cold one but I am actually getting used to it.  In years past, I would go to the gym and would rarely run in the cold.  Now I don't mind it so much.

How did you do today?
Scott

Hey Bro,

I know here in Texas is nowhere near as cold as North East, but with wind chill it was 29 degrees when I set out for a run. I ran 11.5 miles at 6mph pace. Nothing crazy, just smooth and steady. The sun was shinning and aside from the chill, was a gorgeous morning and so glad I was able to get out there. I am really going to focus on longer slower base runs to ramp up for my big run in Feb... I think I am about recovered from the marathon last week and will probably either go to the gym and swim a bit or get a spin on the trainer in later today. Have an awesome Saturday!

Today was another:
45-minute spin
2-mile run on the treadmill.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's 10-miler with friends out in the cold with brunch to follow.

I did a 3 mile run/walk and then 6 miles on the bike. We finally got out of our cold snap here and I'm enjoying the "warmer" weather.

I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike at 20mph for a total of 10 miles.  I ran for 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 5.0 mph pace for a total of 2,5 miles.  Then I did the elliptical/crossramp for 30 minutes with an average stride per minute of 145.  Then I did a total body workout with weights.  Then I swam 200 meters.  I should sleep well tonight.
