The last months or more... have been filled with a strict plan to complete my goal. I ran my 1/2 marathon and now what? I took the follow day off and then I got back to running 3 or 4 miles everyday or at least most days. I think I will also continue with my long Saturday runs. I'm just have anxiety about losing it and getting out of the swing of things. I've been searching for a run I can fit in my schedule, but haven't been successful. I will run the full White Rock next year. I already have a company that wants to sponsor me! Yippee!
Any advice? Did anyone go through something similar? What now? Am I doing enough?

i know exactly what you're saying, fortunately for me i've been able to find races to schedule.  right now i have 4 that i'm registered for, and will continue to schedule and register for events as a ramp up to the big ones and to add the big ones as i go.  for example, i have a full marathon scheduled for march a 1/2 iron man for may, and a 200 mile ultra relay (24 to 35 hour race) in october scheduled as well as a fun run 5k this weekend.  i will pepper in sprint and olympic tris as i train for the half IM, and pepper in longer races (10K, 1/2 marathons) as i train for the full marathon.

best of luck finding events that work for you, it has taken a lot of planning and cooridination to make it work.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Thank you! I thought it was just me being too sensitive. I will continue to check the running shedules. It sounds like you have a great plan! You'll have a nice stack of race t-shirts and medals! Good for you|! Best wishes!!!

Like "Chewy" said, find a race and register for it. That will help you stay focused and motivated.

This will be my 4th year on the local race circut.  At this point, my goal is to improve times at all the races that I have already run a few times.  That helps me.  Also, for you, having the full a year away will keep you focused even though you will not amp up the training for a while yet.  For me its all about the next race and there is always one around the corner.
