I just changed mine as well. go to the "my account" page and that should bring up your settings. There is a tab for avatar across the top. Once you see your current avatar, hit the remove button before loading up a new one. I tried to load my new one and it was only recognizing the old one. Anyway, it may take a while before you actually see the new one.
