Thursday Workouts... COME ON YA'LL!!!!

Good Morning everyone... I got up very early this morning and started off with a 2000 Meter swim in 34:43. I followed that with the 5:45am 1 hour Spin Class, and then followed that with an easy 4 mile "Brick" at 6.0 mph. Maybe some weights tonight, we will see. My legs actually feel alot better and feel like they are almost recovered from the marathon this past weekend. WHAT DID YOU DO  TODAY??????????

Today, I told myself that I was doing one slow mile and I succeeded.  I really needed a rest day after a few tough workouts.  It was freezing.  - in the teens with winds probably at 20-25.  Burrr!

Damn Dan,

I wish I lived closer, I'd like to see what swimming a 34 minute 2k is like.
I got kicked out of the pool the other day when they closed down for the night.
1.5 hours and I still hadn't finished my 2600 meters.

Just got to the point where I felt I could start working out last week. Up to 4 miles of walk a lap jog a lap (took an hour). Lifted weights for 30 Minutes at lunch. Kind of embarising when the women can out lift you though. A little tough starting over but won't give up.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

I walked/pushed the little one to the park about 15 blocks away.  We played in the park, walked a few blocks to the library (to warm up) and walked back home.  Well, the little one rode in his "car with a push handle".

The physical therapist gave me the go ahead to attempt a 4 miler as long as I stretch really well first so I'm going to give that a whack after work and see how it goes. Here's hoping!

46min treadmill

pushed myself to incline more. steeper, faster, and for longer time

i even stopped at the 40min mark thinking i was done, but had a 6 min level 5 incline left in me. at 4.6mph

so, this is slow but steady progess for me. losing weight,  and getting more physically capable all around
