Question for Dan B. or anyone else who may have input
Hey Dan,
If I recall correctly, you recently received one of the body composition scales.
Do you think you have had enough time to give us a review of it.
Is it accurate, do you like all the features, is it worth the price tag associated?
Anybody else who may have one, please chime in.
Thanks
Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
Yeah Bro... I LOVE my Body Scan Scale by TANITA!!!! If I were just weighing myself I would truly have no idea about my body composition. For instance... I have gained 7-8 pounds since Ironman... However, I have dropped my body fat % by over .05%. It also tells me my hydration levels. The funny thing about the scanner is that the lower your Water % is the HIGHER your fat % is. I am normally at 10.3 - 10.5 % body fat, and usually am about 59-60% on hydration levels. If I dip to 57% on hydration, the body fat goes up to about 13-14%. It tells your Metabolic age... Which is comfortingto know that I have the Metabolism of a 12 year old. And also tells your Visceral fat reading (The fat around your trunk and organs). Another cool feature is the Muscle index. For an athlete it tells me I have above average muscle mass, which is awesome. So all-in-all, I LOVE THIS thing. The scale is nice, but does not tell the story of what's really going on. I think it would give everyone who works out and doesn't see the scale move, piece of mind that they are losing body fat... Well worth it...
