Tuesday Workouts!!!
I just got back from a 4.75 mile run. It was not my intention to do that. After two good runs on Sun and Mon, I thought today might be a just get the mile in day but I got out there and felt so good that I had to keep going. Everything was perfect. I may stop at the gym on the way to work for some chest, shoulders and back.
How did you do today?

Well I've been avoiding the forum because I was very, very upset about being injured.........so today I ran. I just couldn't take it any longer, and the Xmas 5K is this Saturday, so I ran.........
.5 Mile walking warmup w stretching too
3.17 mile run
.5 mile walk cool down
My left knee hurts. But it has scar tissue, and I'm trying to determine at what level of pain is OK when I run (knowing I now can't run as often, have to do other things....) and what level I should not run through.
I'm going to do some basics tonight at home, pushups, core exercises, lots and lots of stretching.........all after girl scouts way too much food dinner. :-)
1000Meter recovery swim for me...

43min treadmill, walking. 3.8mph start speed....4.6mph final speed
felt real good today so i worked in some incline. probably 12 minutes total. so not much, but around six minutes at a time and fairly fast paced
best thing about it is i can honestly say it was easy. i went up to level 4 incline and really didn't even feel it. its not real steep, but level 2 was steep enough for me to notice before. i believe i have built much strength in my legs the past six months. it feels good, i feel more physically capable
