Sunday's Workout!

Rode my bicycle 4+ miles to church...brought along my McDonalds Coffee so the sermon went a lot faster...at least I thought it did.  Then rode back home to watch football (Raiders stink).  I dress warm (even thought it's California),  but I am ready to bring out the thermal bottoms now...

I can't even watch them any more.  My wife says I'm going to have a stroke if I keep watching them.

What I did: Nothing but work with my horse and do some household chores. (Sunday being my rest day) May sneak in a cardio workout later.

What I wanted to do: Go for a run. Looking forward to my run/bike ride tomorrow come rain or shine!!

I had a pathetic effort at a run today.
It was supposed to be an hour run.  I may have started too quick, because at mile 1.5 I wanted to stop, by 2 miles I started alternating some walking for 1/4 mile then by mile 3 I was in full walk mode.  Just no energy, legs were tight, nothing felt good.  The only good part of it is I had my wife drop me off 6 miles from home, so I still had to walk at least 3 more miles.  So I got a 3 mile run and a 3 mile walk.

i hate having those types of days... two of my 4 days in the gym last week were like that for me.  keep your head up and get some rest.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??
