I ran my 4.75 mile loop this morning.  It was tough today.  I think it may have been the warm weather and humidity.  Just never could get into a rhythm.

What did you do?

Silly little 1.35 mile run to bring my total to 22 miles this week.

I am determined not to go over my mileage-build-up plan limits, but geez. I felt just dumb, running for 10 minutes. My stretching routine lasts longer than that! But, oh well.

Next week, 24 miles! And tomorrow is my long 7 mile run.

I know what you are saying about running for a short time.  It can feel like a waste.  Great job in getting out there anyway.

3.1 miles in my new Brooks sneakers.  My feet adjusting to the sneaks definitely slowed me down a smidge.

Ran my last long run.  11 1/2 miles.  Finished strong.  Now it's time to relax and get ready for the marathon (no. 2) on Saturday.  OK, still had to bag a bunch of leaves this afternoon.

My pace is slow, but I'm on the mend.  I ran 6 miles today and only had to walk the hills to keep the hamstring happy.
