Just did 1.25 miles today.  Nearly completely recovered from my IT band injury.

Glad to hear that you're healing.  Did you end up going to PT or a chiro for ART?

I was already seeing a PT so I stuck with her.  She did massage, e-stim, ultrasound, and stretching.  I also bought a compression band may for the IT which really helped.  And, at the health expo for the Mardi Gras Marathon I bought "The Stick". 

What I think I really need is to lose a bunch more weight so I am not asking so much of my poor body.

I swam for 1.25 hours. We did a bunch of drills. I'll try to remember them.

Warm up: at least 300, maybe as much as 400 (I lost count)
Balance drills: 3x50s I managed 2.5 of them before the drill switched
1 x 600 combo regular swimming with catch-up drill every 4th lap
and then a 200 just to make sure I got

I think I'm missing something in there, too.

For Wednesday:

1 hour Yoga class, using chairs instead of mats.
30 minutes on treadmill, averaging 2.5 mph with 5.0 to 10.0 inclines.  Plus, 3 minutes cool-down.
30 minutes walk around neighborhood, since the sun was out today.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010.  Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

Did week 4 c25k workout - 2.5 mi in 27:31,  then did an extra half mile walk for cool down.

One hour spin class.  Spent the next hour walking around the gym trying to solicit members to join my colorectal awareness team starting in March.  I actually snagged five people.
