I've heard of this thing called sleep

There once was a time where I knew what deep, intense sleep was. One chilly Saturday evening, I went to bed, at first, around 11:30 pm. Then as I became wide awake, I got up and tinkered around on the computer. Went back to bed around 1:50. Wide awake. This time I decided to take some medication that SHOULD have drugged a horse. Still, after hours of tossing and turning, adjusting heat up and down, changing the speed of a fan, and then finally giving up at 5:30, I'm still wide awake. Dang. Now I'll feel the need to nap around 10:30 or so and sleep until 3:30 or 4:00 Which, of course, will make sleep difficult tonight. Hhhmmm... Since I'm alone and could get very crabby, I might just make myself stay up until it's bed time tonight. If I do that, I'll probably still be awake until around 3:00. Dilemmas...

I can relate to that Liz! Here it is 4:45 am and I woke right up wide eyed and bushy tailed with the worst leg cramps in the world and here I sit at the computer waiting til the meds kick in so I can see about getting some sleep. I thought about making a pot of coffee, but have deside that I have nothing better to do today, except laundry and that can wait til later as I don't want to wake the neighbors up. I thinkin about see if the newspaper is out and go get one. But I just looked out the window and its snowing. So I changed my mind on that one. Hope you get some rest....
