DS FAQ's Sticky post
We are sorry we can not create a sticky post for FAQ's. May we suggest you create a group for new members on the DS.

This way when someone new comes on, give them the link, and they will have one place to go for all the information they need. Add all the links, articles, FAQ's, make it want you want
Thank you,

It's your group and you can do what you want with it. Create sections for links, surgeons links that do the DS, FAQ's, links for articles, insurance. You could make it a one stop group for anything and everything you ever wanted to know about DS.
What a great place for newbies to go!

Why can't y'all have a sticky for a FAQ's for newbies in EACH section?
After all, Member Services can create stickies for other purposes, why not a FAQ one?

This is a good idea, I think. So far, new people have been directed to www.dsfacts.com, which is a great site, but there are questions new people often have (myself included) that can only be answered by those who live with the surgery every day. If there was a way to expand the info available to new people, well, it would really be a very good thing.
But how would a new group work? Would it be another forum? The problem with another forum is the overload of the same info again and again that's difficult to track down due to it being buried in a thread. And then—and this has been a problem for me—there are some aspects of the DS that a new person would never try to learn about, simply because they don't even know that particular aspect exists.
Hmmm, how best to accomplish this...
