1988 Was a Very Good Year--check me out in my shiny prom dress!

Thanks for sharing!  I was a college senior in 1988 and wore the emerald green version of your dress to some frat's winter formal.  Thanks for the trip down memory lane...now I kind of wish I kept that dress, though I am still probably 50 pounds away from fitting.  Plus, my husband would never agree to go out with me in it...

****Most important note ****
When are you going on a date with your son???  (Good excuse to get yourself a modern fancy dress.)  Seriously, they grow up so so so fast.  Before you know it he will be a eye-rolling 13 year old.  Go on a date with your boy.

Nicolle,

Your transformation is amazing, you look so good!! I love that you still had your 1988 prom dress. Too funny!

Who can look at the dress when your eyes go directly to your lovely collar bones!!  Look at you looking all thin girlfriend!!!  While the dress is a bit...ahem...dated, you son is right!  You look so fancy!!!  Congrats on fitting in it again!  You look adorable!

I skipped all the proms. I don't think I went to a single dance in high school. I did go to the After Prom my Junior year, though.

You look awesome, btw...so much smaller than the last time I saw you back in July.

OMG! You look absolutely adorable!! Love that color!!!

My prom dress of 1982 was of a similar color but with 3 layered tiers on the skirt and lots of scary lace!! It would be way too big on me now!! hehe!

That's so cute about your 6 year old. I just got proposed to recently by my 5 year old so I can definitely relate!!

Incredible that you kept that dress for so long, what's better is that you are looking so fabulous - what a transformation you've been through - your dress was hot pink but I am soooooo green with envy!   Congrats, have a rockin' night on the town with your hubbie
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

YOU are a complete wack-a-doodle!  I'll bet you kept the dress on all day!

So, get planning that DS theme party:  1980's Prom!!
I don't have any of mine still, or any of the similar Homecoming & bridesmaid dresses.  All 30+ went to taffeta hell LONG ago.  But, I'll bet that I can find something similar if you throw the party!
