So close Gwen!
I'm struggling with some food choices in general. I need to try to not have certain things in the house. I know this but sometimes I still get them for "a treat". I need to stop that line of thinking! I've done really well with eliminating that the last year and a half but recently I've been getting lax in that. I haven't let up on my regular eating - which is good - but I need to be strict with everything and squeeze every last pound out of this that I can...

man this thing is getting harder and harder to lose. I know it can be done- just makes me appreciate that early period I complained was slow. Hindsight is 20/20.
I need to focus on my after work/before dinner snacking. When I look at my day that where most of my calories are coming from. It's always been the hardest part of the day for me. My choices aren't bad-- just unnecessary.

Hi all, I'm still pre op, but between behaviour changes, and now pre op diet, I am down 30lbs as of this week.
I think the most I've ever managed to lose at a time was 31. So I'm officially heading into new territory. And it's exciting.
Besides the health benefits, one of the main reasons I decided to have surgery was travel. I have always been obese, but traveled a lot. I realized over the last 5-6 years, as my weight crept up and up, I made my world smaller and smaller. My last two flights required seatbelt extenders, and that was four years ago!
i cannot wait to strap in!
Happy Friday! So, at my last appointment my Doctor have me the go on stage 3. So, I am pretty happy with that. Anyways, here goes:

Go girl! I am a little mad at myself for not getting the gym this week. I've been really busy. I really need to get out of that mind set. I did start my vitamins finally, my energy level was not good.

I am with you Mute... I went to OAC conference this weekend and between eating out (no salads), conference food, snacks, bars... I was sure I had gained 5 or 6lbs... I stayed the same on Monday.
Funny I rarely order salads because the salad part fills me up too fast. One time at a diner I ordered a salad no lettuce- the waiter looked at me like I had 2 heads.... but NY diner salads are HUGE and it had steak, blue cheese and all sorts of good stuff on it... so I just wanted the good stuff... and it was good and still huge.
