Protein Question

I know your not to drink protein drinks, but how about adding protein powder to SF puddings for more protein?

Greek yogurt, edemame, jerky are some of my favorite higher protein things.

Thanks for all of the great advice!  I am going to try the Greek yogurt for sure.  I haven't been a fan of yogurt, but things can change post-op and the nutrtional benefits sound fantastic.  I'm already eating a lot of cheese and we've had rotissiere chicken quite a bit too.  I didn't realize bison was high in protein - my DH loves that so maybe I'll learn how to prepare it.

I could probably be getting in more water and right now I just take a Flinstones chewable and Tums for calcium.  My Dr. doesn't even check b-12 until 1 year post-op, but the NUT suggested that I go to my pcp and have the labs run and perhaps get the shots (or at least do a sublingual).  I don't want to go "behind" anyone's back so I think I'll just explain these symptoms to the Dr. and see if he'll run the tests before their protocol.

Again, thanks.  I appreciate it.
