Monday Weigh-In
I miss Marge!
I've opened the scales, although I didn't want to get on them today. My weight has not budged, and I'm getting annoyed. I'll crank up the exercise a notch to see if that shifts anything, and I will cut out the indiscriminate carbs that have crept back into my eating.
Beginning weight: 530 lb
Surgery weight: 407 lb
Last week: 224 lb
This week: 224 lb

Thanks for opening the scales. I was hesitant to get on the scale as well...I've really been obsessing about this first plateau. So I can relate, a little bit, to what you're going through Kix. It must be tough when you have to figure out what you're going to change in order to get those numbers nudging again.
Anyway, my plateua seems to have ended and I've fortunately taken a downward turn again, thank goodness...
Weight at start of liquid diet: 465
Surgery Weight: 430
Last Week: 413
This Week: 408
-5 pounds last week! Hooray! 57 pounds total loss since May 22nd. Putting things in the right perspective, I couldn't be happier! Now to chip away at those 8 pounds that will get me out of the 400s forever.

I remember breaking out of the 400's - what a thrill!!!! Now I'm at 308 - seems like we're chipping away at the same 8 pounds! I hadn't seen 399 in about 5 years and I haven't seen 299 in probably 15.
Good luck to you! Whatever you do...when you get rid of those 8 pounds DO NOT send them my way! LOL

Hi Kix, thanks for opening the weigh in!
I miss Marge and I miss seeing the scale move! I stayed at 269 all week. I really felt like I'd be lighter this morning, but nope. I did lose weight inches in my legs though this week. I was thinking they looked smaller yesterday and then last night my husband mentioned it too. Its so weird how you just randomly spot changes some days. Last week it was my wrists. I woke up with wrist bones!
Starting weight - 440
Surgery weight - 405
Last week - 269
This week - 269

Hi all! Lately I have been really discouraged because I spent the last month bouncing between 373 and 371 up and down like a trampoline. I asked my dr last month to takeme off byetta because I didn't want to take the shots twice a day and put me back on the actos I had used previously. I forgot that actos can cause weight gain.... Well Wed. I went back for a checkup and switched back to byetta and GUESS WHAT??? I LOST FINALLY!!!
