My very highest ever was 409.  When I started my surgery journey, I was 384.  I am at 294 right now.

I have my own goal of 185.  That has been my WL goal every since I can remember.  My doc didn't set a goal for me.

Well my highest was 436 my surger wait was 401.8 and I am now 356. I would like to loose another 200 hahaha but I have weighed  that before it was a hard weight to maintain so my  goal is 180 on the low end and the high end is 220 any were in the middle and I will be happy.

I haven't picked a final goal weight but I'm currently shooting for my "first goal" to be 200lbs.  Funny, when I started this wild ride 200 seemed so skinny to me.  But now that I'm very close I'm thinking I can keep going and see where I end up.  I would be super happy with 175lbs.  My doctor told me there is no reason I can't be 150lbs like I was in highschool.  But I don't think that's possible with all the skin I have and it will only get worse.  We'll see.  It was cool to read everyone's goals here.  Great topic!

My starting weight one year ago, when I decided to embark upon this journey was 284!  Now befor you laugh and say...is that all??.....keep in mind that I am barely 5 feet tall, so on that frame....I was morbidly obese with diabetes, high blood pressure, GERD & severe sleep apnea.  When you are so overweight, fantasizing about a goal weight is hard to do because you simply can't see yourself as anything BUT fat. When I did allow myself to dream, I yearned for 135. I am being more realistic and setting a goal of 150.  I am currently at 168, which according to all charts is still quite overweight.  I was wearing size 24 pants and 3-4X tops since I have always been very busty. My cantelopes are now zucchinis! LOL  Anyway, regardless of what the scale says or the measuring tape indicates....I feel so much more energy and I no longer take any medication for anything! To me, thats HUGE!  Sleep apnea is gone and I don't have to go thru a bottle of Tums in a week!  So I can safely say I have already reached my goal of being healthier. Now I just need the scale to catch up! LOL  Hugs to all  Jeanine

I started at 304.4. For now, my goal weight is 180lbs. I would be super happy there. If I get there, I'll look into whether or not I want to set a new goal.

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

My highest weight was 347 and I am now at 340. My first goal weight would be 225 within a year of surgery, ideal weight would be around 175. Although I simply cant even begin to imagine being under 250, much less under 200!

I weighed 391, now weigh 211.  My dr set my "goal" weight at 180 initially.  He thinks I am losing well, and at my 9 month check up thought I probably get to 160-170.  At this point, I will be happy to be under 200.  But I certainly think 170-180 is a do-able goal for me.
