Calorie Countdown - Whining Wednesday, what are you eating?

I have to whine a bit today, sorry.  You can skip below it to the food if you don't want to "hear" it.  The people upstairs are fighting again, we called apartment security last night.  We had girly (the kid) down Monday afternoon and evening, and most of Tuesday.  What really chaps my hide is that the mom hasn't even come down here to check on her EVER, talked to us, anything.  This kid is 11 years old!  We went to the pool both days and told her to ask her mom first and she looked at us like "why?" - then Monday night we watched a movie and they just left!!  They didn't tell her they were leaving, or where they were going, or anything.  Apparently they went to the ER.  I don't know why, girly doesn't talk about it.  So then they came back - still nothing.  Once the movie was over we sent her home but she couldn't get in, the door was locked.  So I had her call them.  They didn't answer, but we were sitting outside and they eventually just unlocked the door.  WTF?  No one came out or anything.

Also, the kid is skin and bones and thinks she's fat!!  ARGH!!!!  I tried to feed her, she didn't eat.  I asked her if she ate dinner, she said she had some Doritos.  I also at another point asked if her mom was a good cook, and apparently no, she just pretty much fends for herself.  She said she eats ham sandwiches a lot, but she tries not to eat very much because its for Dad's lunch.

I am very frustrated with this whole situation.  And the yelling OUTSIDE really irks me.  Dad drove off last night after security came, and then he hasn't been back.  Maybe it'll be over soon, but somehow I doubt it.  And mom sits on the stairs smoking all day.  There are a ton of cigarette butts in the grass now, it used to be a nice little area of lawn next to us, almost like a yard.  Now its sloppy.

Ok, whining over.

Now onto food, my favorite subject.

B - 2% cottage cheese, pineapple

L - leftover magic concoction (sort of like a chicken stew/chili cross that I made last night)

S - 16oz mootopia

D - not sure yet, I'm kind of craving some Greek and may try to talk hubby into going out or I may just make a grilled cheese or something - I still need to go grocery shopping.

Dunny, there's nothing worse than not even being able to relax at home, ugh.  It's even worse than having a terrible roommate.  Maybe it's time to call Social Services, especially if the poor thing isn't eating.

<>I had two EAS protein drinks for breakfast @220 calories, 34g protein.  Not sure what I'm doing the rest of the day, I'm trying to suppress the urge to eat everything in sight.

I would follow your heart, and it sounds like your heart is crying out for the welfare of this child.  I would also recommend a phone call to social services if only for  her well-being.

B - Twisted Bar  15 g protein

L - 1/2c chicken salad & 1/4 cup asian slaw  & 6 saltines   25 g protein

S - 10 bing cherries

D - ???  At the mercy for another 3 weeks!   probably something with chicken   ??? 20 g protein

S - unjury chocolate protein shake  28 g protein

I will most likely have a protein shake as I like to get around 80g of protein in a day.

Calories look like about 1000 but the salad was from a deli and full of mayo!
